FASHION TIPS FOR WINTER SPORTS

Good morning loves! Those of you who follow me on instagram must have seen that I’m on a ski trip… what are you guys thinking of it?

I am loving everything over here and skiing more and more each day! The landscapes are beautiful and our days here are super exciting!

I received many messages asking for tips about how to get dressed for practicing winter sports. So, I decided to gather the main information about the essentials, and of course, some fashion tips.

Essentials

The essential is always comfort! We need to choose great quality pieces, which can keep us warm without blocking the movements. The ideal is looking for pieces with proper lining and impermeable materials.

I feel great with 3 layers of clothing. More than that can be really uncomfortable, because of all the effort we make. For the bottom, I like to wear a woolen pantyhose, a thermic legging and the impermeable pants. It’s also interesting to wear padded socks to protect the legs.

For the top, the idea is the same. A bra, a thermic shirt, a fleece and the impermeable coat. Don’t forget the accessories! A balaclava, ear protectors, gloves, helmet and glasses.

Trends

For those who want to look striking on the slopes, I have many tips for you! The primary colors (red, blue and yellow) are super in right know! The classical black and white is also always a great choice. And if you are into patterns, go for the plaid print!

Another tip: go for the jumpsuits! The one-piece is the season’s favorite and helps creating an elongated silhouette.

And finally, don’t worry about sorting the outfits between snowboard and ski.  The brands are investing on versatile pieces that work for both sports!
