Trend alert: tie-dye and animal print patterns

Hello my loves, how are you doing? Fashion month is finally over, so it’s the perfect time to talk about trends! I am very excited to share with you all of my Paris fashion week experience. I’ll start with the patterns.

Tie-dye

The first one is the tie-dye, dyeing technique made from knots in the fabric. It first appeared in the 70s and became a huge trend again in the 90s. The return of the pattern is related to the desire for a more artisanal fashion, which is so graphic and industrial lately.

But this time, tie-dye has nothing to do with the hippie trend. Now, it’s super urban and modern, just like the the ones at Proenza Schouler and Stella Mccartney. It has even a glamorous and sexy touch, with vibrant colors, just like Prada and  No. 21. Check it out:

Animal print

Another pattern worth the investment is the animal print. I loooove this kind of pattern, just like a lot of Brazilians (and Italians too). It’s a classic! The trend was seen not only in Milan, but in every fashion week this season. Also in the street style, from the traditional the most modern designs. Check it out this awesome version of animal print in a graphic and colorful vibe from Off-White and Rochas:

Both patterns are a fashion classic, which is super cool. So, in the modern designs, with trendy colors (lavander, lime green, bright yellow and neons), they create the perfect fashionable look!

Bisou, bisou.
