Good morning with the exciting and moving Chanel show!
The show’s scenography is always surprising, and this time, were are truly in love, because we love summer, pools and beaches, right?! Coco Chanel owned many villas around the globe, and Karl Lagerfeld sunk deep into this vibe.
They reproduced, with mastery, a peaceful summer house in the Grand Palais, inspired by the works of the french painter Antoine Watteau. And, pay attention, with a pool inside of it! Absolutely beautiful, specially contrasting with the snow falling over Paris outside!
And lets go to the outfits! A lot of midi lengths for skits and dresses, the classic tweeds and voluminous “A” shaped skirts.
Tailleurs, feathers applied in different ways, off shoulder dresses and some designs featuring slits and finishing in ruffle layers with volume.
And to wrap it all up, the bride appeared in a bathing-suit and a veil! That’s Chanel! Can you see this turning into the new beach wedding trend for the brides?!
Wow, what a show!
