Good morning! Today I’m going to talk a little about a trend that is everywhere right now!

Since last season, the ruffles invaded the runway and started to show up on the outfits of the fashionistas. It seams that this detail will maintaing it’s empire, because many shows also featured them this last fashion weeks.

They appeared on the collars, shoulders, crossing the body or giving volume to the skirts, literally everywhere! The shapes and sizes may vary, from the most delicate to the most daring ones!

At Chanel and Balmain, the ruffles appeared in a more usual way, making the skirts plump. On the other hand, at Valentino, the distribution of the details over the dress, made it all look very light and fresh.

Elie Saab gave a master class about making ruffles more mature and elegant. But Louis Vuitton and Alexander Macqueen went for the full drama!

Take a look at how the contrast with the heavy boots takes away the dollish aesthetic that ruffles may cause sometimes, making it all seem more updated.
